Lost for words?
It’s easy to slip into a state of “same-itis” – where not only the advice you’re giving is getting a little homogeneous but the way you say it is beginning to sound exactly the same – the same as your competitors, the same as everybody else.
How about trying something outside your comfort zone? Make up a word. Find a sound that feels like what you’re trying to say or take another word and modify it a little to create something new.
This is how language works. It didn’t just appear one day, it evolves constantly over time. If you’re not convinced, try and think of words that didn’t exist as little as 10 years ago. I can think of three for starters – fandom, wearables and of course (here it comes!) Brexit.
So cast away your snurges and get wordlin 😉.
